One shouldn't get the wrong image of Mer on the basis of this one picture only. She is far from vain and is quite happy to don camoflage makeup and clothing for missions when it's required. She has nothing against crawling in mud, provided it's for a good reason.Although she is friendly and has a good sense of humour, you'd do best to do as she tells you on the battlefield, or any time she is in uniform. That is when she means business and isn't joking around. Keep in mind, she DID work as a sergeant.
