Nyks is the head editor in charge of everything around here. She has an untarnished reputation and is not openly a member of Cobra. No one outside Cobra is supposed to know she's in, so keep your mouths shut, or suffer the consequences. We'll send in Shard after you if you blab, and tell her she can skip being nice with you.Real name: Christina Rosanna Natasha Isle
Owner of Nightshade Publishing, as well as several restaurant chains,
hotels, biochemical companies and a small movie company. Inherited the
companies from her 2 late husbands.
Nyks is also an esteemed biogeneticist
in her own right, though she gave up active research when she married the
second time. She picked up on it after she was widowed.
Nyks
Nyks has midlength dark red to auburn hair and blue-grey eyes. She is tall, regal and stylish, able to mix with the best of them. She has a cool intelligence, a strategic and logical mind, and she uses it to further her ambitions, by whatever means she sees fit. This includes having married two rich businessmen, who both happened to die within 6 months of the wedding. Nyks wasn't implicated in either of their deaths, but this was all a bit too convenient for her to be a mere coincidence.
Her first husband was a brash and uncivilized brute, ruthless but not nearly intelligent -or rich- enough for her to settle with him, the second a smart, but utterly dull goody-two-shoes, who bored her to death in another way.
She got involved with Cobra during some business arrangements of her first husband, but did not officially join their ranks until later. However, she has moved in their circles for years now, keeping a low profile for the most part.

This suits her, as she has always preferred being a grey eminence-like person behind the people in charge. Now that she has gotten rid of her 2nd husband, she is keen to take a more active role inside Cobra, though she still prefers being seen as a non-important person, someone who will never become a threat and who is easily manipulated. Her iron will only shows when you cross her, or when she chooses to let you know how misguided your conception of her was, by which time it will be too late for you to stop her, anyway.
Nyks actually has little regard for Cobra other than for the power she can gain through it. Her goal is to be so powerful she's untouchable and can do whatever she pleases. Her personal loyalty goes to Cobra Commander, whom she finds fascinating in every aspect.
