She is possibly at her most dangerous when she is being nice to you, keeping up the facade and pretending to be whatever it is you want her to be. She has good acting skills but has found it more and more straining to stay in character for longer periods of time as of late. She finds most people pathetic just because they fail to see behind the mask and are so easy to fool, men in particular. Her sugarsweet and friendly behaviour ought to tell them something, in her eyes, but most people never seem to realize she's being false and manipulative.
Shard has used her computer skills to erase practically all information on
her life before Cobra, and dislikes anyone getting too close to her. It is
known she was born somewhere in Northern Europe and that she has
worked as a high class prostitute to con men out of their money, finding her
targets and gaining easy access to them, snaring them and then springing the
trap. She usually left their bank accounts empty and their lives in ruins.
She sometimes blackmailed them for fun, toyed with them and made their lives
hell, sometimes showed some mercy and just took their money. Shard's sense of
humour can be sadistical to the extreme.
Shard has basic skills in car mechanics, martial arts, fencing and diving.
She is extremely good with hi-tech equipment and worked as a Techno-Viper
before being transferred to other duties. She dislikes having to rely on
others and has tried to gather useful all-round skills whenever possible. She
is, perhaps quite naturally, more at ease with machines than other people.
Shard has lashed out at Buzzer, knocking him down giving him a nosebleed, having
lost her patience with the Dreadnok on a mission. Her sugarcoated irritation
wasn't getting through to him and she lost control of her rage for a moment.
This is the only known instance of her attacking an ally, even in the form of a
Dreadnok. Usually she saves her viciousness for the enemy.
Shard currently works for Nyks under Nightshade Publishing, in connection
to Cobra.
